I visited the Pepper Palace about a month ago. During our visit, the young lady behind the counter encouraged my daughter’s fiance and myself to try out the Nasal Napalm. She gave us a warning that it had been known to take one’s breath away.
It did.
My future son-in-law had already made the mistake of sampling some of the extremely hot sauce from the sambling bar – it had a flashing red light over it and was dark red in color – and he had gotten some on his lips. So he was in pain anyways. We each were given an 1/8 of teaspoon, told not to smell it, and to put it in our mouth, and to breath through our noses.
I nearly fell down.
In fact, for about 3 hours afterwards, I could still feel the horseradish in my stomach. Thankfully, I tried some of the Pepper Palace’s spinach and articoke dip, which took the majority of the strong taste out of my mouth.
I’m not complaining, mind you. No one twisted my arm to try it. In fact, I had just spent a while joking about how mild the hot sauces on the sampling bar were. So I deserved what I got.
I really enjoyed my visit to the Pepper Palace. My daughter bought me a nice bottle of Huy Fong’s Sriarcha (???) garlic and hot sauce as a memento, and we’ve had such a good time using it on everything.

We met ya’ll here in Fort Worth, Tx. at Zestfest 2008, (we where judges here in Fort Worth, & been doing it for 6 or 7 years. NEVER have I herd, Julia, my wife, talk about anything in my life. We have ordered 2 cases of your Nasel Napalm & everyone who has tried it has fell in love with it as much as my wife. We keep 2 bottles in our safe just in case!!!!!!
This year was not that great, but we tried Pistachio & roasted pepper dip & we got a bottle the other day & made a Pizza with it. (Flat bread, dip, homemade Mozz. Cheese, and Tomatoes). My wife asked me to make it 4 times now. Its a great latenight snack.

Hi Pepper Palace! My husband and I were just in your Gatlinburg store this past week. We stop in every time we are in Gatlinburg. Whenever we have family or friends that are vacationing in there, we give them a list of stuff to get for us. My favorites are your Not Sweet Hot Salsa and Hot Queso Amarillo. I wish you were closer to where I live. Then again, maybe it’s a good thing that you’re not. I’d likely spend all my money there! hahah! Thanks for having such great stuff and friendly employees!

i tried this horseradish at a friends party, and went and bought some as soon as i had the chance to. THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST EXTREME HORSERADISH ON THE MARKET!!! the guy at the store told me that the 1 little jar is a 1 year supply. this horseradish is too extreme for words. ill just say that 1 tiny little spec. O <==== that big will make grown ass men cry
